AV Integrator Websites: Built Custom, Hosted by Us, Updated Every Month

Most integrators aren't shopping for a website. They already have one. What they want is someone who will host it, keep it fast, and actually make the change when the commercial page is out of date.

Part of the AV Marketing for Integrators: Every Channel, in the Order That Pays system.

The launch is the easy part. Anyone can hand you a good-looking site and disappear. Six months later the service you dropped is still listed, the install photos are from 2021, the contact page has a tech who left, and the person who built it hasn't answered an email since March. That's the normal experience, and it's why so many AV companies are stuck on a site they don't like and can't change.

We build the site, host it, and maintain it for the life of the engagement. Custom pages built around your services, your product lines, and the areas you cover, on a modern stack instead of a page builder you'd end up maintaining yourself at 11 p.m. The domain and the code stay yours the entire time, including on the day you decide to leave.

How the system works

Four systems that run while you’re on the job site.

01

A custom build on an engine we've already proven

This is not a theme you configure. The design, the page structure, the service pages, and the copy are built for your company. What gets reused is the machinery underneath: the lead pipeline, the schema layer, the booking funnel, the review pipeline. That reuse is why the build lands in two to three weeks instead of four months and works on day one instead of after a debugging quarter.

02

Hosting, SSL, and speed included in the fee

We host it on modern infrastructure with a global CDN and automatic SSL. No separate host to sign up for, no plugin stack to babysit, no renewal you forget. Images ship as AVIF, heavy components load only when needed, and we hold a performance budget after launch instead of screenshotting a score once. Our first AV client's mobile PageSpeed moved from 92 to 99 and desktop from 83 to 100.

03

Updates that actually happen

New service line, another town added to your coverage, fresh install photos, a price that changed, a tech you hired, copy that reads wrong on the commercial page. You text or email it, we ship it. Underneath that, the work you never see: dependency upgrades, security patches, uptime monitoring, and broken things fixed before a prospect finds them.

04

You own the code and the domain

Your domain stays registered in your name, in your registrar account. The codebase is open, portable Next.js. If you ever leave, we push the current code to a GitHub repo you own, transfer the hosting project to your account, and write a one-page deploy doc. No early termination fee, no clawback, no stretch where we hold your leads hostage.

What it fixes

01

A one-line change takes three weeks.

The guy who built your site does it on the side. Text edits sit in his inbox, you stop asking, and the services page still lists work you quit taking in 2023.

How we fix it: Updates are part of the monthly fee, not a quote. You send the change, it ships, usually the same week.

02

You have a website but you don't control it.

The login belongs to the agency, the domain is registered in someone else's account, and the export they offered is a zip file nobody can deploy.

How we fix it: Domain in your registrar, code in a repo you can take with you, hosting project transferable on request, all of it written down instead of promised on a call.

03

It looks fine on your monitor and crawls on a phone.

Page builders load a pile of scripts and full-size hero images. The prospect standing in a half-finished kitchen on one bar of service leaves before the page paints, and you never know they were there.

How we fix it: We build against a mobile performance budget and keep testing it after launch, because that's the visit that actually decides whether you get the call.

What you get

  • A custom site built around your services, areas, and product lines
  • Hosting, CDN, SSL, and uptime monitoring inside one monthly fee
  • Copy and content changes handled by us, not queued up for you
  • Mobile page speed treated as a standing budget, not a launch-day number
  • Dependency upgrades and security patches every month
  • Full ownership of the domain, the codebase, and your lead data

Common questions

Is it a custom build or a template?

Custom in the parts you'd notice, reused in the parts you wouldn't. Design, page structure, service and area pages, and copy are built for your company. The lead router, schema layer, booking funnel, and review pipeline are components we've shipped before. We're not going to pretend we reinvent a lead router for every client, and you wouldn't want us to bill you for it.

What actually counts as an ongoing update?

Copy and content changes, new service pages, added coverage areas, new photos, team and pricing changes, and anything that breaks. Plus the maintenance underneath: dependency upgrades, SSL, security patches, monitoring, and performance work. What isn't included is a second website, an ecommerce store, or a custom app. If a request is genuinely a new project we'll tell you that and scope it, rather than letting your small stuff pile up behind it.

Do you build on WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace?

No. Everything we build is Next.js on modern hosting, because that's how we get the page speed and the few-hundred-page local layer without a plugin stack that breaks on every update. If you're committed to staying on WordPress, we're not the right fit, and that's a fine answer to reach on a 30-minute call.

What happens to my current site while you build?

It stays live and takes leads until we cut over. Before the switch we inventory the URLs that carry search value and redirect them to the new pages so you keep what you've earned, then watch Search Console through the transition. The DNS cutover itself takes minutes and we schedule it with you rather than surprising you on a Tuesday.

Is hosting a separate bill?

No. Hosting, the CDN, SSL, and monitoring are all inside the monthly managed-service fee, and there's no surprise invoice when traffic grows. The only thing you keep paying separately is your domain registration, which stays in your own registrar account on purpose.

Can I just get the website without the rest of it?

That's usually not the right buy. A fast, good-looking site with one contact form and no local pages is close to the thing that isn't working for you now, so we build the site together with the local pages, the concierge, the lead routing, and the review pipeline. If you want a brochure rebuild and nothing else, there are cheaper shops for that and we'll say so on the call.

Get a site you don't have to think about.

Book a 30-minute call. We'll look at what you're running today, what it would take to rebuild it properly, and what the ongoing update relationship would cover for your operation.
